  Took my car to Canadian Tire to have a brake inspection done as the motor vehicle inspection was coming up . The car was working fine , but the mechanic insisted on taking the car for a test drive . When he returned 15 minutes later with the car , one back brake was locked solid with the tire dragging . I suspect that the mechanics at that store are paid by the job ; and if they cannot find a problem with your car , then they will make one . I spoke to the manager about it ; and his attitude was pretty much " who cares " as long as they got paid to fix the car . Avoid this garage if at all possible .
